Conveniently located in the heart of Petaling Jaya, and connected to Bandar Utama MRT and One Utama Shopping Mall via a covered walkway, Avante Hotel is a newly built modern-luxury hotel. You can check out their promotional rates HERE.
Boasting 610 rooms, saltwater infinity pool, a sky deck and soon-to-be-opened gym, Avante Hotel is suitable for both leisure and business travelers alike.
First Impression – Avante Hotel
As I arrived at Avante Hotel, I was amazed by the large lobby and spacious waiting area. The hotel has ample natural lighting and the overall vibe and first impression was extremely pleasant. Check in was a breeze and I managed to get my key card in less than 10 minutes.
The Room
My room is located on the 20th floor, and it’s a superior king category.
The room has a wardrobe for you to hang your shirts and pants, as well as a safe. There is also a small area to put your luggage. Complimentary mini-bar is also provided which includes bottled water, coffee and tea.
A small table by the window offers some much needed space for those who need to work. The window offers view of the hotel’s swimming pool as well as the bustling streets of Bandar Utama. The bed itself is a normal king-size bed, which is comfortable for 2 person to sleep in.
The toilet is my favorite part of the room. The mirror on the toilet wall can be electronically lit up. The shower and toilet is separated by a glass door as well.
Basic toilet amenities are also provided as well, along with Noelle Australia’s shampoo, body wash and hand wash.
Overall, the room was enjoyable and we found it to be spacious enough for a couple of night’s stay.
We also had the opportunity to enjoy Avante Hotel’s facility, mainly their saltwater infinity pool located on the 15th floor. The pool is large and suitable for lap swimming. However, the buildings were blocking some valuable sunlight at around evening time and the water was freezing.

The Breakfast – Chek’s Coffee House
Breakfast buffet is served at Chek’s Coffee House, Avante Hotel’s all day dining venue. The restaurant was well-lit and spacious, we found it extremely comfortable dining at Chek’s.
The buffet spread was pretty normal, with your usual suspects including Western, Asian and Malaysian breakfast on offer.
Overall, we thought the buffet was OK, with enough varieties to keep guests interested for a couple of days.
Final Thoughts – Avante Hotel Bandar Utama
All in all, our stay at Avante Hotel was pretty comfortable. We enjoyed its convenient location to shopping malls and public transports, and its hotel rooms are lovely to stay in. We also reviewed the restaurant at the rooftop of Avante Hotel, and you can check out our review HERE.
