Romani Fusion Restaurant offers panoramic view of Bandar Utama and its surrounding with their non-obstructing view as well as outdoor seating.
We absolutely loved the interior décor of the restaurant, with hints of floral and garden atmosphere along with its aesthetic vibe.
The Food
To start our dining experience, we had a couple of cocktails from the bar. A strawberry frozen margarita was a twist to a classic and it tasted very refreshing. Whereas a long island iced tea is not for the faint hearted!
We also ordered an iced latte for good measure. We liked the idea of chocolate sprinkles on top of our latte, almost tasted like mocha.
For our dinner, we had 4 main signature dishes. The first two were Spaghetti Carbonara and Lamb Shank.
The spaghetti carbonara was cooked to perfection, and its not too creamy nor cheesy. The chicken strips added some much needed crunchiness to the dish. As for the lamb shank, the lamb was cooked perfectly. The meat on the lamb fell off pretty easily and there was very little hint of gaminess from the lamb.
To round off our dinner, we had Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken as well as, a first for us, Nasi Lemak Pizza. The former was our favorite, with the fried chicken tasted amazingly delicious and the meat was extremely juicy.
The Pizza was OK for us as we try to find the balance between a western dish with a Malaysian fusion. We thought the base was too spicy for us, and overall lacking in flavors.
Final Thoughts – Romani Fusion Restaurant
If you’re craving for some fusion food, along with amazing views and an affordable price, we would recommend you to try out Romani Fusion. We would also highly recommend staying there late as there will be live bands on selected days of the week.
