ESLEAD Namba hotel is a combination of two words – Real Estate and Lead. It signifies confidence and ability to become a leader in the Japanese Real Estate Industry in the new era. ESLEAD hotel is an apartment hotel coupled with service provided only in 5 star hotel – a relatively new concept in Japan. All ESLEAD Hotels are operated by the professionals in the real estate field, served by professionals in the hospitality industry, and equipped with the most advanced technology and equipment – all whilst upholding the Japanese culture of ‘OMOTENASHI’.
ESLEAD Namba South III is located around the Tsutenkaku Area, and it is accessible by many train stations. The closest train station is Ebisucho Metro, but it can also be reached by the JR and Nankai line. Besides the Tsutenkaku Area where it is filled with shops and restaurants, there is also a Mega Don Quijote store within 5 minutes walk away.
First Impression
After you make your reservation online, you would be sent an email requesting for your information – number of guests, name of guests, as well as passport. As ESLEAD Namba South III Hotel uses E-check-in, inputting your details before your stay would smoothen the entire process.
A couple of days before your arrival, you would be sent a code that you can use to enter the front entrance. This is especially for those who are arriving in odd timings (early morning / late evening) where the front door will be electronically locked for safety purposes.
I arrived early in the morning and there were luggage area where you can store your luggage and lock them to prevent theft. All check-ins are done electronically via the iPad in the concierge area and you can only check-in after 3PM.
The Room
The room I was assigned to is on the highest floor, at level 15. As it is an apartment-style hotel, there are very few units each floor. My floor has only 4 units.
As this is an apartment-style hotel, you can expect a fully functioning kitchenette. Induction cooker, plates, and utensils are all provided in case you want to cook yourself a nice meal.
If you are into buying foods from convenience store, there is also a full-size refrigerator to store your purchases, and a microwave to reheat your meals.
The shower and toilet area is separated. The toilet area is fitted on one side of the room, and the toilet the other.
The toilet consists of a washing machine – where guests are free to use. Detergents are also provided free of charge. There is also a single vanity, with full set of amenities provided.
The shower area is fitted with a standing shower as well as bathtub. Interestingly, this shower area is also fitted with a warmer and you can enjoy a ‘sauna’ session prior to showering, or it can also become a heating room for your washed clothes.
There is then a living area, where sitting area and a table is located. There is where you can enjoy some local Japanese programs as well as the TV is fitted in this area. I especially liked the hanger for my winter jacket.
The wardrobe is fitted in the bedroom area, with hangers, as well as a vacuum cleaner. Pajamas is also free-to-use.
This is the bedroom area. My booking comes with 2 queen bed. There is also a balcony where you can also hang your clothes, or you can take in the views of Osaka City. My room has an unobstructed view of Tsutenkaku Tower.
Final Thoughts
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at ESLEAD Namba South III. Its location is spotless, and we really enjoyed the spacious rooms that comes with a kitchenette and washing machine. It is an apartment-style hotel so it is perfect for those travelling with friends or family.
