Sib Kao is a Thai Word that tells the story of Sib Kao Hotel. There are 2 meanings to the word ‘Sib Kao’. The hotel is located on Sukhumvit Soi 19, where ‘Sib Kao’ is 19 in Thai. Moreover, due to its strategic location, the hotel is figuratively ‘ten steps’ away from major attractions, including shopping mall, BTS Sky train, Massage Parlor, and local eateries. ‘Sib Kao’ also means ten steps in Thai.
Our room is a deluxe king room that comes with a 5 star quality sleeping mattress, as well as your usual hotel amenities. One thing I really liked about Sib Kao is they provide free Netflix in all rooms.
I really liked the Thai Design in the room. The color choice was also very pleasant.
Complimentary drinking waters are provided, and replenished daily.
Cozy working corner by the window.
Definitely not a big table. But, more than sufficient for a few night’s stay!
Shower area is separated by a glass with the toilet. I definitely appreciate the rain-shower, and shampoo and body-wash are provided.
Basic toiletries such as toothbrush are provided (on request).
Fridge and closet.
For the price and location, the room is definitely comfortable and spacious for both short-term and long-term stays.
There is also a rooftop area for guests to unwind and chill.
It is free to use and is perfect for a small gathering, if you prefer the fresh air.
It is also the perfect spot to catch the sunset! If you bought some snacks from the 711 just ’10 steps’ away from the hotel, you can eat it at the rooftop too!
For guests who booked direct with Sib Kao for a minimum of 3 nights, you can get a free massage at the massage parlor next door!
It was quite crowded at around 930PM and I had to wait for about 30 minutes. Overall, a great experience!
Long-term stay guests also can get a one-time complimentary croissant and coffee at Gigi Coffee, literally ’10 steps’ away from the hotel.
I had Iced Mocha and Croissant with ham and cheese. It was delightful!
Overall, my stay at Sib Kao was perfect. You can sense a very human touch from the moment you enter the hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel is still very new and clean, and it is super near to many attractions. If you are looking for a boutique hotel around the vibrant area of Asok/Sukhumvit, I would highly recommend Sib Kao.
