Dongdaemun is one of the most famous area in Seoul. It is also one of six designated special tourist zones in Seoul. Being the largest and most popular fashion industrial area in Seoul, it is surrounded by 26 shopping malls and approximately 30,000 stalls. If you are looking to shop-till-you-drop in Dongdaemun, then you should definitely stay at Travelodge Dongdaemun.

We previously stayed at Travelodge Myeongdong during our first couple of nights, and you should definitely check out our review HERE.
We also had an amazing stay at Travelodge City Hall, and you can check our our staycation experience HERE. After checking out from the hotel, we headed straight to Travelodge Dongdaemun.
Within a few minutes walk from the Dongdaemun Subway, it is very convenient to travel to tourist hotspots from Travelodge Dongdaemun. This time around, we stayed in the Deluxe Twin room, which is compact yet suitable for couples to stay in. There is a small working desk, along with an area to open your luggage, and 2 single beds.
As usual, all the Travelodge hotels in Seoul has a separated toilet and shower area.
I would also like to highlight the check-in area at Travelodge Dongdaemun, which is nicely decorated. It is also equipped with a Starbucks coffee machine.
There is also a rooftop garden where you can chill and hang out with fellow travelers.
