If you are traveling in Seoul, Myeongdong is one of the absolute must visits. If you are looking at staying at Myeongdong area, look no further than Travelodge Myeongdong.
Travelodge Hotel is a hotel chain with a strong presence in Asia, and is focused in providing top notch service in strategic locations at an affordable price. Currently, Travelodge Hotel operates in several Asian countries, including Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea and Singapore!
We landed in Korea quite early in the morning, and headed straight to the hotel. Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro is easily accessible via the subway, and is about 1 minute walk away from Euljiro Sam Ga Station.
As we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist checked our booking and told us that check-in is strictly 3PM. Hence, they kindly allow us to leave our bags at the hotel and we ventured out to explore the area.
After lunch, we came back to the hotel and check in was done in a breeze. This time, we stayed in their Superior Queen room. The room was designed for comfort and convenience, with a sense of at-home living. The room comes with a working desk, a window overlooking the Myeongdong area, as well as a super comfy Queen-sized bed.
I absolutely liked the toilet area, as it is spacious and the toilet and shower area are separated. Basic toiletries are not provided, in line with Korean Government’s initiative to go green.
There is a gym room for guests to do some light workout, and also Pay-per-use washing machine. By the reception area, there is a working area as well.
The hotel also boats an all-day dining restaurant, however we did not have the chance to dine at the restaurant. Our booking does not come with breakfast as well.
The location of the hotel is very strategic, and there is a convenience store right opposite the hotel as well. The hotel is also a 10 minutes walk to the bustling Myeongdong area too.
