Socho Fried Chicken – Review 2021

Socho Fried Chicken is the Korean word for box, and it reminds the co-founders of the traditional Korean culture, where the lunch box is a demonstration of affection towards loved ones. Socho wants to reconnect with their customers to the past with diversified contemporary food whilst maintaining the memories and nostalgia in their packed lunch offerings.

Tender chicken meat deliciously coated with honey, with a hint of savoury from the garlic. Overall tasted sweet and aromatic.

Nostalgic Korean chilli paste taste almost teleported me to Korea. Not overly spicy. Savoury with a hint of sweetness

Anything done with salted egg has to be my favourite! A bit bias here hahah but the chicken was fully coated with salted egg and a little bit of sweetness. Cannot stop eating because this is so yummy.

We also tried

We also received 2 bottles of lemon juice/tea. Both were very refreshing but the lemon juice did come with a hint of bitterness and might just be too sour for an empty stomach. We added some ice cube to make it less intense.

Final Thoughts

Overall we feel that Socho Fried Chicken is an interesting local brand that is dedicated to serving high quality and delicious food, as well as consistently maintaining a standardised branding. Definitely worth a try. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Socho for sending us these delicious fried chickens!
