The Beachfront Hotel Phuket – Hotel Review 2022

The Beachfront Hotel is located at Rawai Beach. Featuring it’s own beach, guests staying at The Beachfront Hotel Phuket will have the luxury of enjoying the sea view and beach in private.

The Beachfront Hotel Phuket is also a few minutes away from famous landmarks such as Chalong Pier, Rawai Seafood Village, The Big Buddha as well as the famous Nai Harn Beach.

First Impression

The lobby is separated from the main hotel building, and once you have done all the check in procedures, a hotel buggy will be able to fetch you from the lobby to the hotel room.

Buggy Service

My check in was pretty efficient and I got the keys to my room in less than 5 minutes.

The Room

The room I was aligned to was a 1 bedroom suite with pool and sea view. As you enter the room, you would be greeted by a bar table on your left. The area is also a kitchenette area, where microwave is available for usage. There is also an induction cooker as well as silverware for you to use.

The mini bar consists of many different canned and packet drinks, where the hotel charges a minimal fee upon consumption. Coffee, tea, as well as bottled water is complimentary.

The toilet is connected to the kitchen area as well as your bedroom. The toilet is pretty small but has all the things you need. It has a single vanity, and standing shower and toilet is separated by a glass door.

The living area is pretty spacious, with views of the Rawai Coastline. It has a sofa and a mini table. The working desk is located by the balcony window and is perfect for getting some work done. There is also a luggage area beside the working table.

The Bed itself was super comfy and we really liked the decoration on our bed!

The view from the balcony is pretty amazing, with views of the pool and impressive architecture of The Beachfront Hotel, as well as Rawai Beach.

The Facilities

Depending on the room category you chose, you can have direct access to the swimming pool. As my room is located on the 5th floor offering amazing sea views, I would have to head down to use the pool.

The pool is pretty good and decent for some lap swim. You can also take in the sunset view from the pool itself.

The gym is pretty standard, but sufficient for some light workout.

The Breakfast

Breakfast is pretty standard with an array of Western and Thai selection on offer. You can also order eggs (omelet, sunny side up) with the waitress.

During my stay at The Beachfront Hotel, the occupancy was pretty low (due to raining season in Phuket) and the entire restaurant was pretty peaceful and quite. That being said, despite the low occupancy, the variety was pretty satisfactory and food quality was decent.

The Beach Cafe

The Beach Café

The Beach Café is located towards the end of the building at The Beachfront Hotel. It is connected onto the beach and you can choose to dine by the beach, or indoors. The café has 2 floor, the lower floor is pretty small but you can sit at the bar. The 2nd floor is a free co-working space for Hotel Guests. In fact, I spent a lot of my time working on the 2nd floor of the café.

Co-Working Space

During my stay, the food menu is pretty limited. However, the drink menu is extensive. I was surprised to find that pricing of both foods and beverages are pretty affordable.

Plain Water

Hotel guests will also receive welcome drinks redeemable at The Beach Café. The choices are either a sparkling mint drink or a non-alcoholic Shirley Temple. Both drinks were pretty refreshing.

Mint Soda

For lunch, I decided to go for a Pad Thai with prawns. I also ordered side of squid as well as a glass of mint mocha. The food were all pretty tasty, but the squid was a bit rubbery to our liking.

I also ordered a Pad See Ew with pork, alongside a Oreo smoothie and pineapple smoothie. For teatime, I had to go for a serving of fries as well as a fried ice cream.

For dinner, I went for a pork fried rice as well as a Ovaltine smoothie. I also had the opportunity to sample one dish from the new menu, which is the green curry chicken rice. The fish cakes was pretty delicious too.

Final Thoughts

We really enjoyed our stay at The Beachfront Hotel. Location wise, it is located in a pretty secluded and quite area, though it is not far away from major attractions around Phuket. The Beachfront offers access to its own semi-private beach, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
