First World Hotel Haunted Rooms

While there are no particular rooms mentioned online, one did pop up on Tripadvisor’s review page. It was Room 11906 of Tower 2. The reviewer mentioned that he was ‘pressed’ by an unknown force while he was sleeping, and his voice changed! You can read the original review here.

First World Hotel Haunted Floor(s)

One of the most popular theories, and proven to be correct, was that there is a mysterious ’21st Floor’ that was shut off from everyone. The reason why people are unable to access the 21st floor was that the lift never stops on that floor! Rumor has it that the 21st floor was ‘cursed’ and that unknown figures were spotted.

Other Haunting Stories

Most of the guests in FWH and Genting Highlands are casino-goers and urban legend say that FWH is the most ‘suitable’ place for unlucky gamblers to commit suicide when they lost large sums of their money and are in huge debts. Why suitable? Because FWH is one of the cheaper options for accommodation in a rather overpriced resort. Ghosts are seen jumping off the window, walking in the corridors, and disappearing into the thick mist. Some of the rooms were also ‘sealed’ and kept vacant for rather ‘unpleasant guests’ as guests were reported feeling ill and unwell during their stay in those rooms.

Some guests also reported smelling incense throughout their stay at FWH, and FWH is also a ‘resting place’ for ghosts who died in landslides, or car accidents during their trip up the highlands. There were also reported hauntings and poltergeists happening during the early days of FWH operation.

What do you think about FWH? Do you think it is as haunted as what the rumors says? Share with us your experience staying in FWH in the comment section below.
