Because of its size, there are more than 30 different beaches in Phuket, ranging from the popular Patong Beach to the less crowded Ao Sane Beach. It is the perfect place for travelers to escape the freezing winter in their country, due to its tropical climate all-year round.
Phuket is also the top destination for diving enthusiasts as well as professional surfers. There are multiple night markets around Phuket island, and it is also a shopping haven for cheap outfits, affordable snacks and souvenirs.
